Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy


  1. Purpose:  This Return Merchandise Authorization (referred to as “RMA”) Policy outlines Boss Lighting’s policy for returning products. In order to be eligible for a return, proof of purchase as well as additional documentation must be provided. 

By purchasing a product directly from Boss Lighting, you (referred to as “You”, “Your”, or “Customer” below) agree to this RMA policy. 

  1. Return Eligibility: To be eligible for a return under the RMA Policy, the return must be submitted to Boss Lighting within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date, and the product must be returned unused, in the original, unopened packaging including all original packaging material, manuals and/or other documents. 
  1. Non-Returnable/Non-Creditable Products:   Note: Products that have been modified, personalized, and/or used with incorrect or incompatible components will not be eligible for return.  In addition, products that have been damaged due to misuse, negligence, and/or incorrect compatibility will also not be eligible for return. 
  1. RMA Return Process: 
    1. Boss Lighting will acknowledge receipt of the Customer’s RMA request (which can be anywhere between 2-3 business days) and will issue a corresponding RMA number. 
    2. Authorized Boss Lighting personnel will review the RMA request, including required proof of purchase and any additional required documentation, and will follow up with any additional questions.
    3. If your RMA request is approved, a refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment (please reserve time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund).  
  1. Inspection and Processing: Note: Requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  Please allow time for processing, which may take anywhere between 2-3 business days. 

Upon receipt of an RMA Request, Boss Lighting will review the required documentation and, at Boss Lighting’s sole discretion, may issue a refund to the original payment method used. 

  1. Return Shipping: Note: Customer shall be solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with shipping and delivering the Product back to Boss Lighting.  Boss Lighting shall not be held liable for any costs, damages, or losses incurred during shipping. 
  1. Warranty:  Boss Lighting warrants that its Products are free from defects in materials, workmanship, and assembly for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.  Boss Lighting will only replace products if they are defective and under warranty.  Note: the warranty will not apply for the following:

§  Normal wear and tear;

§  Damage(s) caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper installation or alterations, and/or unauthorized repairs or modifications;

§  Improper assembly and/or installation of any part;

§  Significantly modified or used in conjunction with any incorrect components or hardware;

§  Transferred to a third-party and/or assembly facility; 

§  Damage(s) resulting from shipping and/or transit carriers (please get in touch with the shipper directly to file a claim)

  1. Changes to this Policy: This RMA Policy is subject to change, and any changes are effective upon Boss Lighting posting the updated RMA Policy to its website.  If any of these terms and conditions are found unlawful or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms will continue in full force and effect.
